Weatherly Heights Baptist Church

Weatherly Heights Baptist Church, is proudly affiliated with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and the Baptist World Alliance. We interpret the Bible through the lens of Jesus’s life and teachings as shown in the Gospels. As one of the first Baptist churches in Alabama to ordain women as clergy and deacons, we are committed to breaking new ground. From creating an English as a Secondary Language (ESL) program for Huntsville’s migrant population to welcoming Ukrainian refugees and members of the LGBTQ+ community, we are dedicated to inclusion and hospitality. We celebrate the worth, gifts, and talents of every person. All are seen as equal before God. Regardless of race, nationality, gender expression, or sexual orientation, everyone is welcome to join, participate, and lead—as preachers, deacons, teachers, or members of committees and ministry teams. We value the rich variety of religious traditions in Huntsville, embracing our own faith while respecting the beliefs of others.
